Testimonials
MBMg
In response to customer demands to minimise chemical residues, MBMG has installed biofresh Ethylene Management Systems in a number of our potato stores. We have been very impressed with the effectiveness and accuracy of the systems and the level of service provided by biofresh.

Solanum Ltd
Solanum has been storing potatoes using biofresh Ethylene Management Systems for sprout control since 2003.
Minimising pesticide residues in the potatoes that we supply to our retail customers is a key target for our business. Using ethylene as a sprout suppressant clearly goes a long way to achieving this aim. Ethylene leaves no detectable residue in treated crops or the storage environment. Furthermore, we avoid our storage site neighbours' concerns when fogging with CIPC and the associated clouds of gas!
With a number of seasons experience using ethylene on a range of varieties we now have sufficient confidence to use the technique to hold even the longest-term stores. The systems are easy to operate and we have been delighted with the maintenance support and technical backup provided by biofresh.
Carroll's Heritage Potatoes
We installed a biofresh Ethylene Management Unit last year and have been delighted with the results. Using ethylene has given us more flexibility; lengthening our storage season and allowing us to extend our marketing window for stored crops.
Conventional store fogging does not suit our operation in terms of both the residue it leaves in our product and in the store itself (which we also use to store some of our seed potatoes). Ethylene leaves no residue at all allowing us to use the same store for holding seed.
